Finding natural relief for headaches and migraines doesn’t have to be, well…a headache.  Time and time again, research has shown that acupuncture is an effective treatment for both chronic headaches and migraines.

Although acupuncture has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for headaches, it hasn’t been until recently that scientific reviews have concluded the efficacy of acupuncture treatment for headaches and migraines.

Two recent studies have shown that acupuncture not only reduces the amount of time a headache affects the patient, but also reduces the frequency of time that a patient experiences such head pain.

Expectedly, the one study also revealed that those receiving acupuncture treatment for headaches had less side effects than those receiving prescriptions and medication.
