I first went to see Jessica for help with a fertility issue: I was 37, wanted to get pregnant, and had ovarian cysts that were preventing ovulation and resisted treatment by Western approaches. I was immediately taken with Jessica’s easygoing and friendly manner. From the first treatment, she was interested in getting to know me as a whole person. I started acupuncture with Jessica Silver, L.Ac. in December 2007. My husband and I wanted to avoid fertility medications but were unable to conceive after a year of trying. I was not getting my period at all, and was diagnosed 3 years ago with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and hypothalamic amenorrhea. Jessica was great; she really put my mind at ease. After about 10 weekly acupuncture sessions, herbs, and some dietary changes, I became pregnant in 3.5 months! We weren’t expecting it to happen so fast but my husband and I are really looking forward to meeting our new baby in November!
